It’s a undecorated weaver I painted with Custom decals I made.

Good evening, Mark from Oregon, not to get of the subject of this topic but I thought what was interesting  in the book Setup and Running was when OP (the gentlemen the story is about) got the manilia envelope from the engineering department and gave him orders on shaking down a new steam locomotive out on road.

After his run or several runs he told the PRR engineers what he thought was wrong  or what was right with their latest design. 

He had to be highly respected among the PRR management to have such position.

I never know if anything I post on these forums will be of interest to anyone, so I'm glad you saw my comment and are familiar with the book.  

Indeed, that was one of many interesting stories told, which is why I recommend it to everyone.

FWIW, one my my favorite bits was when he (OP) went out on a fast passenger run and observed "bank firing" firsthand. Also, the stories of (trying to) clear the line of deep snow with the I1...

Tried to come up with some PRR items that have not been already shown. Here are three, I believe. The first is Lionel's Legacy Lindbergh Special E6, No. 460,  the second is a Lionel-American Flyer Y3a, and the third is a Lionel-American Flyer ES44AC in the NS PRR heritage scheme. My E6 was shot on friend Norm's "old" layout, while the pictures of the AF Y3a and ES44AC were taken on my (otherwise) pure postwar Gilbert AF layout. Gotta get a bit of AF S gauge in somewhere.

Yes, same here, I really enjoyed that book Setup Running!! 

Old thread I know, but hey, PRR! L=>R Williams streamlined K4, Prewar K4, L1, and MTH Premier K4 from 1995, all alive and well but pushing me to an ERR/Railsounds/S-Chuffer upgrade for each...

I got this a long time ago, just as you see it here:

It's an old Rivarossi/AHM unit; someone did a decent job detailing and filling in the pilot gap. It's a real "growler", which seems to suit this model...and I believe the lettering was done by hand!

Here is our extensive PRR collection as seen on the tracks of the Great Northeastern Railway, "The standard railroad of the basement."

A PRR K-4s in rare freight duty coming though the aftermath of a blizzard.

A postwar Lionel PRR S_2 steam turbine leaves the city next to the Super Chief.

Postwar Lionel's "attempt" at a PRR K-4s in the engine servicing facility.

Penny Power

An A-B-A PRR FA Alco Diesel, a PRR K-4s and a PRR USRA 0-6-0-switcher in the yard awaiting assignments with an A-B-A B&O F-3 Diesel as a long freight train passes on main line track #1.

The Federal, headed by a PRR GG-1 with the throttle open after leaving the city's Union Station.

A PRR K-4s leads a train down main line track #2.

A PRR USRA 0-6-0 switcher brings a coal drag into the yard.

A PRR M-1A rumbles down mainline track #2 with a heavy coal train.

A PRR GG-1 speeds along main line track #1 with the Broadway Limited enroute to Chicago.

South Fork Railroad

The Pennsy division of my model railroad world is lead off by these.  Weaver BP-20 passenger sharks.  Recently I also added a Weaver Brass Torpedo.  My current Pennsy projects include a Williams brass T-1 which I am modifying to represent one of the later configurations with some of the skirting removed and a Fairbanks Morse C Liner B unit made from parts of to A unit shells to match the double A pair I have.

Good evening, here is a photo of a few Pennsy Steamers, the rest are out on the road making revenue.

Just a small selection of my PRR collection. Had a crazy idea that I would get one exempted of each locomotive type the railroad used. After about fifty I realized what a bad and  very expensive idea that was going to be.
