The same crash scene over and over... noticed the layout changed to o gauge...
I did not realize there were so many episodes that had the train layout.! Super funny!
To 20th Century, i think if you put Addams Family in the title, more people will take notice. Thanks so much for posting!! With so many different camara angles, one could try and replicate the track plan. Come to think of it, there may be a thread like that o. OGR.

I too, didn't realize there was only one explosion scene filmed, and it was recycled repeatedly as needed. (Stands to reason, though.) I think I saw pair of 218's later in the clip?

There appears to be two versions of the layout. Look closely and you'll see some shots with O27 track, and a figure eight type section in the middle.

Great post! Gonna do it in 072,just enough room. I'll try to keep you all up to date as I progress. I remember reading about this layout. Gomez had a switch on top of the zw to control while filming. Just now noticed it was missing on the 031 layout. But I believe in one episode where he's trying to purchase the big swamp & southern, you'll notice a second zw. I bet that was controlled by film crew. If that can be verified, am I'm correct, I'll be more than happy to build it exact in super0. That's if I can trade a lot of 0gauge for super0. I the space, the trains and hot zw! Thanks, guess I got carried away watching Gomez's train's.

After you build it, Ron, don't forget to make a video of the explosion scene and post it on this Forum.
I would like to know the exact track plan Gomez has for his layout. From what I gather from the Addams Family Train Wreck Compilation video. It seems there is a figure 8 in the center of the layout with switch tracks leading to the elevated tracks. Would anyone know what the exact layout plan is on this beauty?
Is there a guide / tutorial on how to properly build Gomez's train layout?
