While I am not a big diesel fan, I am very happy with the performance of the Reading GP 7 at Worlds Greatest Hobby Saturday.  I was pulling 9 to 10 cars without straining.  My only dislike, is that the long hood is in the back and cab forward (on controller).  I was used to seeing them with the cab in the back, and other members of the club confirmed they were used that way initially.  Still a fun little engine.

DSC_0598What's nice about Flyer chief is that you really don't have to change the wires, just start it in reverse, and that way you can run the long hood forward. I just got my Reading GP-7 last week also along with a Norfolk Southern Baldwin. As a kid I always ran the Flyer GP-7 with the long hood forward, Back than it look right to me, now it doesn't matter.
