Ken,

Great video, Ken!  I wish I lived closer than my almost 2 hours.  Your video showed what to me are my favorite parts of the layout.  They are the turntable spinning steam locomotives way larger than what I could ever run at home, the Grand Central Station with a lineup of passenger trains, and the downtown city scenes which I don't model either, as in my small space I model West Virginia.  Everything is very well done on the layout.  The Eleshs are great folks also.

Mark... I always see things that I missed on my previous visits... and now with the expansion, I see a lot more visits in the future.

I always walk away being inspired even though I am limited to available space on my 8' x 12' layout that I started for my son almost 25 years ago... often seeing  a sign or accessory that would go well with my layout.

I love the reactions of the people that I bring, and others who go there after I tell them how great it is... and most of these people are not train hobbyists.. they just love seeing amazing things, and all seem to have memories of trains in years gone by.

But space is always an issue... even for the Elesh family, who are wonderful friendly people... I just don't have enough room to knock out my back wall and double the size !

I very much look forward to  visit. However, is this the largest family-owned 3-rail 0 gauge layout (31' x 145' = 4495 sq. ft.) in the USA? The classic family-owned Roadside America layout in Shartlesville, PA claims a layout size of 7450 sq. ft.

Bob

Bob, that's true. Roadside America is large. Ours happens to be 145 feet long. Theirs is 104 feet long. The square footage is the size of the building they have.
