Is anyone else losing the whistle on a new Lionel 2-6-6-2 when the engine is put into sequence control using the AUX1 Legacy Remote Button.  I consistently loose the whistle if I put the engine into Sequence Control.  I am trying to sequence both my SoundStation Dining Car and the C&O 2-6-6-2.  The engine will also lose the whistle in AUX1 Sequence by itself.

To get the sound back, I have to turn the ZW-L off and then on.  It would seem that this is a program issue and others with the new 2-6-6-2 engines should be experiencing the same problem.  Did I miss seeing this in a post?

Sincerely, John Rowlen

I apologize for typos and any errors in previous posts.  The number of items going back to Lionel is wearing me down.

The C&O 2-6-6-2 runs fine until it is put in AUX1 Sequence Control.  In Sequence Control, the engine will start moving with bell ringing and whistle blowing two blasts,  then the whistle will no longer be activate from the 990 Remote.  No Whistle.  Only turning the engine off, then on will restore the whistle, but now the engine is no longer in Sequence Control.

Lionel may be trying to do too much with programing so many methods of operating their engines: conventional, TMCC, Legacy, and Bluetooth, etc.

If you have a new 2-6-6-2 Legacy Steam Engine, please check to see if it works properly in AUX1 Sequence Control.

Sincerely, John Rowlen
