Atlantis bought all the old Revell tooling that was in ILL when the new EURO owners took over. They will now reissue kits over the next few years. The White COE tractor with tanker tailer is due first Q2019. No price posted yet but less than $20 I'll bet. Nice model for the price.

A number of 1/48 tanks are coming too.......

I bought 3 of those White Tanker, one I finished as illustrated, Mobil. The other I did in Sinclair having Decals etc. Nice models. The 3rd I'll probable sell since I don't have a place for it.

Josef,  did your tanker kits have the windshield ?   I have one and have not opened it.  Revell also reissued the Ford F100 pickup truck the same year they did the Tanker.  Trouble with the F100 was it did not have the windshield in the kit so they provided a sheet of acetate to fabricate one.  Not having opened the tanker I wonder if the windshield was included ?

Of the 3 ( one still in cellophane, I don't see one) no windshields. But I don't even notice them missing.

I built this model a few years ago and glazed all of the windows. It was challenging. I made it a Sinclair truck and wrote up the details of the build in my on-going saga. You can find it here, on Page 31 about 1/2 way down the page.

so I won't have to repeat all of it and locate all the images. I had Sinclair decals left over from my Berkshire Valley gas station. I enlarged them and printed them out on white inkjet decal paper. That's when I found out that Solvaset was too strong for this brand of decal and they started to dissolve. I was able to save the project… barely. It was a fun build and is terrific since it's actually in 1:48. Very few vehicles are.

It took me over a half hour to put this post together since I got completely side-tracked reading all my old posts while searching for this part of the build. I finally wised up and did a search for "Revell" and found the page. I was too far in the future where I was looking because the photos said they were created in July 2016, but it was actually earlier than that.
