Nice Job!!

The rivets on the car look to be photo etched and not punched

Makes for a better looking rivet and its faster for the builder to make the cars

I had a friend years ago that did photo etched brass for some weaver kits, it is an amazing process and took a lot of time to make the pattern or negative for the etching. He had to figure the time to leave the brass in the acid, too long or short it wouldn't be good and as the acid was used it got weaker so he had to keep adjusting the time. It took quite a bit of artistry to make the etchings...and he did it all in his garage!!

Keep up the good work I always enjoy (and envy )your projects!!

I think the layout's grade and the large quantity of nuts is unfair to compare to these. I think the Low-D do roll better?

I am a huge fan of real bearings inside. I feel we abuse our engines, asking them to do more than we believe they're doing. I'd love to know more about these Low-D trucks. I am making my own for now.

Santiago, do yours have real bearings?
