Here are a few photos of a background "flat" that I worked on over the holidays. It is kitbashed from three Atlas City Litho flats. It's ready for me to weather and scenic.

The vents and air conditioner are HO scale Walthers details. But they look good in O. The water tank is Ameri-Town with custom made decal. The tall smoke stack is also an HO Walthers detail. Roof covering is typical tar and stone roof using Woodland Scenics fine grey ballast.

I added wood bumpers to the docks, exteriors light fixtures (non-working), and hand rails to steps. The concrete slabs are Plaster of Paris stained with Model Master aged concrete paint. I also added interior lighting.

JACKIEJR,

Unfortunately I do not know where the light fixtures came from. I have a lots of part that I have collected over the last 50+ years - stuff I salvage off junk kits, extra parts from kits, etc. These were in my "light fixture" drawer. I had to make the gooseneck out of brass wire. They may be from an old HO scale Campbells Scale Model kit.
