Has anyone kit bashed a coach or sleeping car to a Rider Coach?  Some members of our forum model ATSF, B&O and GN, all of which had rider coaches.  Before I try to re-invent the wheel, if you've modified a model, kit bashed one or scratch built one please share your experience to reduce the number of mistakes I'll make. I will start with a K-Line shell, either a coach or a sleeping car with the window arrangement that resembles an 8-1-2.  With a bulkhead forward of four rows of seats only the crew area would be lighted and those windows would have shades.  It will need marker lanterns.   Thank you, John in Lansing, ILL

Bob Peare, "Traincraft", did a kit of an NYC "Riders Car", that was 41 feet long, and ran on passenger trucks.  NYC Car #2715 is in drawing, and is described as of heavier than usual caboose construction.  It looks like a drovers's caboose, no cupola, but has 5 windows one side, only 2 on other.  It was a WWll creation since all coaches were required in pass. service, and all of several were still in service in 1951.
