Thanks Doug.  Last time I upgraded was prob 2-3 years ago.  The version that you’re referring to, was it’s released recently?

As noted above you should be able to control PS1 locomotives using the app and having the track the PS1 locomotive is on hooked up to one of the variable channels on the TIU. In that scenario you will be basically running the locomotive like you would with a conventional transformer handle, except remotely using the app.

Sorry - was referring to the last Handheld / TIU upgrade that I did

Looka like 6.1 is the latest version for DCS.  Time for an upgrade

One more question.  I just checked and I have 6.0. Does the upgrade to 6.1 enable me to play PS1 engines on the WIFI app or is that something totally separate.

i think 6.1 was a fix for problems in 6.0 i went straight to 6.1 to try turn it all on get app started an tap the tracks button at bottom of i pad or smart phone then it should bring up a picture of  throttle look at top of screen and tap tracks should bring up a screen that says variable 1 or 2 tap and run some trains if that dont work you may need 6.1
