I had a chance to ride in a fully restored B25 this week for $450.  I didn't get back from Seattle in time though.  As for the Big Boy I had considered going, but it would be a four day deal for me, and the crowds would be horrendous.  I'll sit and wait for it to come to Omaha and can then take a more leisurely approach.  What I really want to photo are the repro engines at Promontory when they do a re-enactment.  I have an 1860s vintage camera & lenses and am learning how to shoot wet plate.  That would be a hoot to do there!  Hope to get East sometime and photo the Lincoln 4-4-0 and the funeral car.
