I run conventional and see this as an option for running Williams trains with a remote. I have two Z 4000s for three independent loops of track. Would I need two receivers and one remote I see track 1-2 & 3 on the picture of the remote. Sorry if this has been covered before I looked at a few old posts but didn't see my answer.

Thanks

Dave, you are correct.

You will need one receiver for each Z4000 and only one remote to control both Z4000s.

At the bottom of the remote is where you select which Z4000 you will control and at the top is where you select which track you will control. A single Z4000 remote can run up to 3 Z4000s and up to 6 tracks.

Thank you,  that's what common sense told me but I wanted to be sure.

I picked up a couple of these about a year ago.  Finding them was a challenge - I don't think they've made them for some time.  And I won't pay $190 for one on ebay...

That guy must read the this forum the price has been raised 3 times since my initial post and is now at $225.00 LOL.
