Lionel 224 with 6466W Tender, Short Circuit

Probably needs a thorough cleaning. Remove the tender shell and check all wires, probably need new wiring. The roller wire flexes a lot especially if its been through tight curves in its life. 

Flip the  tender over and locate your hot wire feeds. These wires have been known to lose their insulation and short out on the tender frame

This has happened to my tenders, and I bet this is the solution.
