The TCA YORK meet is Oct. 17th, 18th & 19th, but there are bandit shows the 14th, 15th & 16th.

Awesome...can’t wait!
York tickets on order and 611 tickets in hand. Just need the hotel and reservations at my favorite restaurant.
Looking forward to seeing Jim Robinson and meeting Marty in hoping for positive recoveries for both.
Can’t wait....coming down for my first York. Airline tickets and hotel booked! Now I can finally book my York tickets online.
Let me know in 90 days, right now I don't care.

C’mon, Dave! You know you’re excited! I’ve been planning since I got home after April’s Meet. Brought home our badges and making the the travel arrangements.
Looking forward to walking those aisles and visiting all the vendors and seeing friends and meeting new ones.

Plane reservations made this past weekend for October. SBA -->>>>> BWI.
Strasburg event tix in the folder as well as the early-bird registration tag from the April Meet.
York number twenty-eight -- all from way out on The Coast.
Well Eddie, seeing your topic, I registered. Hopefully nothing will come up to keep me away. After missing the last two meets, I am hoping to get there in October.
Renewed membership. Will register in the next week. Hotels covered. Like Harold, I need to arrange flights. Hopefully nice fall weather in the 60's with plenty of sunshine.

Is it time to start doing back flips in the halls again? One can only hope so. I actually had to get my TCA membership receipt sent over to prove it was up to date. I called the following day after the email to make sure things were going smoothly. All parties were extremely courteous to making sure everything was A-okay.
I am looking very forward to this as I have a shorter list than usual. I think last October my list was freelance, but I had somethings in mind. Naturally, see what comes.
@Mark Boyce hope things stay clear so you can make it. Hopefully I won't talk too much, lol. I know last October I really was chatting up everything, I even got to talk to Mike Reagan for a while.
I am ready to buy stuff like crazy! And party hearty with my friends!

I've got my ticket and am ready to go. But guys, when you plan travel this year, you've got to include OGR's 50th birthday party at the NJ HiRailers the Sunday after York.
Eddie, you're going to pass right by, so simply plan on an extra day. Brian and Lynley, you should come also. We promise it won't snow (remember that white stuff). The more the merrier. It's going to be a party!

I've never been to York but have heard many wax poetically about it over the years. Not this year, but I will have to go in 2020.
We'll have a drink for you Kevin. Hopefully I get in both April and October next year. I'm stoked, got a full head of steam, pistons are pumping, coal is fully loaded. Haha.

Agreed Mark. I think last October I had quite a bit of fun helping Ed set up for the OGR meeting. Peter popped in a bit late and was telling Ed about someone selling a sealed set I think from 1954 or so, for $20,000 I believe. That blew my mind and Ed's as well. If I can find one of the two locomotives I've missed out on, I'll be happy with just that. Of course I would need to make sure I have enough money for that, gas, and food, lol.

Yeah, that's it. I couldn't remember the price exactly, but knew it was somewhere up there. IIRC, you already had that same set, so no use buying that very expensive one.

Kevin, I have only been there twice; Fall 2017, and Spring 2018. While many who attended years ago are truthful in saying it isn't quite what it was then; it is far and away more than I have ever seen elsewhere!! I hope to see you there next year!!

Partly sunny with partly cloudy moving in with hot and cold on the side. October is a bit away, may want to dig out the Farmer's Almanac to see what it should be like. I know 2017's October was rather warm, like a hot spring without humidity. 2018's October was similar but much cooler in the morning and evening hours. As long as there's no rain, I'll be happy with whatever else pops up.

I'll be fortunate to get time away to get to York. The NJ HiRailers would be a great event, but only a pipe-dream for me!

It might have been Eddie, heck if I can remember. I usually remember about 90% or better of my day of work, and keep that in my head for weeks. Online stuff sometimes gets eroded away however. Of course, weather reports always change. When I went out to Yellowstone some years back with my sister and her two kids, it was supposed to be a nice spring week(mid May) and we got winter for two days of it. Last two days were summer.
