Does anyone know if there is an exploded view/assebly diagram for a Lionel CSX SD40 6-84261? I asked Lionel Support and they said only the picture that is with the Parts List is the only thing available - this picture shows all of the parts but now how they go together. i am trying to replace the front coupler and pilot. i did look in the Lionel Supplements but did not find anything - any help would be appreciated.

Look in Lionel Supplement S30:1-3 and you will see the SD40 motor truck pictorial. This is not the 6-84261 but an older 1995 version of the SD40. When a new version of the service documentation is not available you can look at an older version of the locomotive and often get useful information. Supplement S26:1-5 shows another version of the SD40 but not the truck parts. The Supplements are the Lionel website.
That SD40 has no relation to the model in question, which was made from all new tooling several years ago. That 1995 model dates back to the mid 1980s.
thanks - i looked in some other sources but all seem to be pre -2000 versions - i did find a screen shot of the coupler only - Lionel service told me there are no diagrams for the version 6-82761 -appreciate the response
