Re: Fastrack Switches

I am currently expanding my layout and just purchased some Fastrack turnouts. I flipped them over to disconnect the wires and noticed a terminal labeled Data. My older turnouts do not have that terminal. Nothing was connected to that terminal and I couldn't find anything in the manual that came with the switch that mentioned it. So what is its purpose? Thanks.

It's not used yet, apparently added for future use, but I have no idea what that use might be.
