Found an excellent condition MARX 454 block signal at our local TCA meet on Saturday. Paint, label, bulbs, binding posts and switch all perfect. Everything works. I feel I got my $15 worth! I also picked up a nice MARX signal tower with the red girder support. Also excellent except missing BOTH binding nuts. Are originals hard to find? Any of you MARX folks have two extras I could purchase. THANKS!

Approximately when was this 454 signal produced? Was it postwar?
Robert Grossman would easily have everything you need.
Is the 454 a postwar accessory?
The 454 is from 1952

THANK YOU, Steve! Any chance you might have a couple of MARX binding nuts for my signal tower in your parts box? I tried using one from an MTH lockon, but it was a metric thread. Close, but no cigar! 😐

See my email in my profile. Send me your address and I’ll send you some. Do you need 2 or 3 and do you need the whole assembly or just the nuts.

STEVE: THANK YOU! Just the nuts - three would be great! My address is in my profile. You are most kind! ☺
