Not sure if this is a transformer phasing issue or switch wiring, buss block issue.  Loop A is the outer loop.  Loop B is inner loop.  Atlas Switch connects A to B.  Tested one lighted caboose going through Atlas Switch from Loop  A to Loop B.  Lots of fuzzy/sparking electrical action at the pass point where each block joins via neutral pin set right after the switch, which is connected to Block A.  Lionel Command is in operation on Loop A.  Conventional on Loop B.  Running to Lionel KW 90's.  Lionel 2343 sparks likes crazy in this juncture and gets stuck.  One thought is that when crossing the switch, one roller can be in Loop B and One in Loop B.......since that is two seperate KW's, I'm guessing therin lies the problem?

It does sound like phasing. Reverse one of the transformer plugs in the socket. Both transformers also need to be set at the same voltage when transitioning. Also both 'U' posts need to be outside rail. Are you phasing both A throttle to A throttle and B to B? If you are using KW's, why not use A and B for each loop instead of 2 KW's?

Thanks Chuck.  I'll check the phasing.  U posts are being used for outside rails.  Also will use one KW, A & B, to handle the trains.

Hi Chuck, spent some time on the railroad this weekend. Polarity was the issue. Trains running on time now!  Mark B.

All too funny.  That was the exact problem I had on my 1st post.  I just went to 500 post yesterday.

The solutions listed were the key I see.  Great people more than happy to help here.
