Hello,

I received my Lionel Southern Mountain #1495 (SKU 1931130) today and was disappointed to find that quality issues are still plaguing Lionel's legacy programming.

When I ran the locomotive over an LCS SensorTrack, the auto program feature programmed the locomotive as a North Pole Central #1224.  Has anyone else encountered this or a similar problem?  I tried manually programming the name and road number of the locomotive from the Cab2, but as soon as it crossed another SensorTrack it reverted to the North Pole Central name and number.

Can anyone think of a work around?  Anyway to "lock" the locomotive name and road number programming so that the SensorTrack doesn't reprogram it?

Thanks!

I'm curious to know where the "programming" lives for the SensorTrack ID.  Is it in the RCMC or the Railsounds Lite boards?  Those seem to be the boards that you have to "call Lionel" to order.  The SensorTrack boards seem to be more generic.

Does anyone know?

Both the RCMC and Railsounds Lite boards are particular to the specific engine for other late model engines. So as GRj suggested, you need those specific boards for that engine.
