I've been painting these URR flat cars that my friend and forum member Joe Shipbaugh scratch built. Joe did a fantastic job!

There is also a Malcolm Byrd caboose in the second shot! How lucky can a guy get!

if you painted the steel plates, you did one heck of a job. They look exactly like the plates I see on our tank jobs.

Nothing looks like hot rolled steel more than hot rolled steel. lol
