...to all who have weighed in; offering suggestions, information and even compliments(!) during my almost 3 months foray into Standard Gauge. You've been very helpful, supportive and that is much appreciated.

A couple of observations, if I may:

Absolutely loving the USA Track; wearing standard Atlas brand work gloves make assembly easy. A flat-head screwdriver, wedged between the pieces and a little prying action makes disassembly equally easy. Very nice stuff.

I'm a little less than thrilled with the paint colors I chose for the "10" and "318" re-builds: I tried to get a close match, using the color chart from the TCA book, but I feel the Rust-oleum "Lagoon" is too blue for the "Peacock" and the "London Grey" is too red for the "Mohave". They looked really close in the store, but in practice they are only barely passable. I'm loathe to start all over again, since some of those tabs are pretty tired. Oh well.

Time to start looking for some rolling stock: as it stands now, all I have are a couple of #112 and a single #12 (all with hook couplers), plus a big 212 (with latch type). The #212 sits so much higher than the 10 and 318 the the couplers don't mate.   The others work okay, of course, with the little #33, but that's it. I guess I'll be looking at the #500 series cars...

Anyway, thanks again for all your support.
