Trumptrain: What a great shot of the bus...super photo. What is the make of the bus? Its the right time period for my layout and I have been looking for a bus. So far all I have found are either too modern or too old for the layout 40's - 50's time period.

NYS&W Alco C430 #3002 crossing the drawbridge entering Little Ferry yard with Eastbound stack train SU100-Sept. 86'. #3002 was wrecked the following winter on the Northern Division when it rolled over after hitting an ice encrusted crossing......

If I were asked "Do you have a favorite engine?", I would be hard pressed to answer, especially since I collect both Marklin and Lionel, but this MPC model would certainly come to mind.
The GG-1 was my Dad's favorite engine as well and he had a wonderful way of describing them in action-especially watching the pantographs arc in icy weather.

That is the " Rosa Parks" bus and is a model of a GM city bus. It's made by IXO Models and is 1:43 scale. I bought it at the York show last fall. Die Cast Direct has them or will have another batch of them coming in around 6/30/2020. The Die Cast Direct item number is: HACH-22. Die Cast Direct also has the same bus in other colors labeled for other bus lines. I bought this model because of it's historical significance and it's look. I think Die Cast Direct is still an OGR Forum sponsor?

Jackie, That bridge reminds me of where we would go swimming in my youth. You even have a sign for tubing. My location was all woods with a tiny clearing where you could park if driving to the swimming hole. Beautiful scene!

That's neat Mark. When I was planning my layout I wanted to include a river scene with a bridge. It sort of mimics my early child hood days living cross from the river. Here's a shot of the river from the other side of the bridge where tubers can access the river. Thank's for the compliment.
Here’s a shot of a Union Pacific locomotive idling with another at the head end of the Waste Management garbage train on the Puget Sound and Pacific. This was taken Sunday morning at the Fairmount Ave. crossing which is about a half mile of my house as the crow flies.

Lee, I can hear the garbage train as it starts up the grade heading back to Elma, rounds the curve near Walker Park, goes through the cut under Arcadia Rd. and crosses the Mill Creek valley. If I’m in the house I usually can’t hear it.

Conrail SD40-2s at Ridgefield Park, NJ on the River Line, former NYC West Shore, crossing Bellman's Creek - Sept. 86'. CSX has two tracks at this location now.

Cinderella's castle is the centerpiece of the Disney park. The Disney monorail makes it rounds transporting visitors to all parts of the park. The park is also served by the Great Northeastern Railway as well as trolley service on the inside track.
For today: " Rural railroading."
The contemporary Hotel is a popular place to stay while visiting the Disney park. Where else can you catch the mono-rail in the hotel and go to any place in the park? Also, the food is real good at the hotel.
