I hope everyone had a great day!

Hi Mike, looks like an MTH? I have one that looks very similar and I added headlights and tail lights. The headlights were easy as they had plastic inserts already. The inner headlights are yellow but they don't look much like yellow in the photo. A little more effort was required for the tail lights. I used one red LED and light pipes for the tail lights. I did discover just how hard diecast metal can be. I used a brand new drill to drill out the tail lights, and it took some time and lubrication!

Arnold:

Your photo above really spoke to me on many levels as do your many thought provoking topics to share with the fellow members of this forum, what I perceive as your obvious love of our hobby. Your tag line below your signature, "In my little world, I leave this troubled world behind.", seems, to me, to sum up why I have returned to this great hobby with a renewed and passionate enthusiasm that I now have for it.

I have never had the pleasure of making your acquaintance in person. However, I feel I appreciate your thoughts, the musing reflections of a person who has chosen to pursue a profession that I imagine can be very stressful and possibly unpleasant if you let it, in the cause of seeking fair representation of persons facing the unfortunate, life shattering realities of divorce. You seem to have come to the enlightened realization that internalizing the stresses of your job will take a mental, emotional and physical toll on one's body and being. The outlet of the model railroading hobby is  a great way to turn off the sometimes cruel "real" world, take that time to relax, unwind and take a trip back, in our mind to a time when your most pressing concern was to set up the train track on the floor and get the railroad running. This is the model railroad enthusiast's way to allow one's body and mind a hiatus from the stress of the day, relax re-tool, and be better prepared to perform the next day in their chosen profession.

You have become a good role model for me in life, a source of good mental and emotional balance. Bravo to you sir! Please continue to share with us your true love of this GREAT hobby we all we all passionately enjoy.

Good morning and thank you so much, Randy, for your kind words.

You are correct about my tag line, which is a lyric in my video song: Who Am I (Rollin' By) on YouTube.

I am grateful for the oasis of peace, relaxation, creativity, connection and camaraderie that model railroading and this Forum have brought to me, especially because of my sometimes stressful profession.

I look forward to meeting you and other Forum friends in person at York down the road. Arnold

Pat, thank you for the nice fall photograph!  Getting out with the dog in windy, single digit weather has me missing fall or wanting spring!

You are so very welcome Mark!  My dog Barney likes to go for a walk in those low early morning temps as well.  At least the temps where I live are not quite as low as where you live ... thank my lucky stars

Morning guys, some great photos!

@WesternPacific2217 Scott your bus looks outstanding! I was hoping you don't mind me asking what are light pipes?

Hi Mike, light pipes are just round or square solid acrylic that can be purchased at stores like Tap Plastics in California only. I'm sure you have a similar store where ever you are.

Here's a photo of the light pipes in the bus. The light passes through the 3/16" round acrylic from the source and out the other end. You've probably seen this before but light pipe might be an unfamiliar term.

I still like that warm glow lighting of your scenes Patrick.

That sky backdrop with the diffused look of clouds and toned down blue sky really make this scene look very natural .   Nice photo again sir.

Dallas - thank you so much!  I took that photo last night using overhead lighting. The photo is not technically altered in any way.  I'm so glad you like it and thanks for taking time to comment.  Much appreciated!

Great photos guys!

@leapinlarry, I always looking forward to seeing photos of your layout! It really brings a smile when I see you show some of your BNSF!

@trumptrain Patrick, Wonderful view of the train crossing the bridge! Also its nice to see the mow crew out there checking the end of the siding!

I hope you all have a great day and hope you all get missed by the snow they say is coming!
