FOR TODAY:  Up on the FSJR Mountain Division a winter storm rages!  Temperatures hover just above zero.   The rugged dudes and powerful equipment that comprise the FSJR MOW snow clearing team are up for the challenge ... and they will prevail!   IMG_6994-2

Great action packed scene Patrick.

I don't know if you might consider a get together with 'Capetrainman '  ( Paul ) and you guys could put the scene YOU have shown here and the blowing SNOW that Paul makes on his computer for a really wild looking image ( video ).   🤔

Lee, great photos! I really like the BNSF but have to say yours is very interesting also!

Patrick, I am glad they have the farm equipment loaded and ready to go as that means the snow will soon be going away! Great scene, have to say they are doing a great job chaining the equipment down!

Thanks Mike I know you like the BNSF a lot I just like a variety on the my layout

Pat, the farm equipment load looks great!  I need to get my BL2 out on the track, since it has been a while since I ran it.

Thanks Mark!   You and I both have WM BL2s because we love the Wild Mary!    Mine MTH BL2 is out on the mainline now running with a WM FA2 ( dummy ) in circus paint.  They are pulling a long coal drag.

I wonder if anyone has ever custom painted a WM BL2 in the circus scheme?  Do you know of anyone who did this?   It certainly would make for a interestingly creative project.  Doing so is certainly not in my wheelhouse ..lol!

I love the design of the BL2!  I think they look pretty cool!   Whenever  I think of all the roads that purchase the BL2,  they all have attractive paint schemes except the WM IMHO.  A bit of red, white, and black might be an improvement.  It could be a "what if" paint scheme.

Pat, yes the WM black is bland compared to other roads’ BL2 paint schemes.  I have seen a BL2 painted in the Red, white, black circus scheme.  It would be interesting if someone followed the curving contours between the colors.

Mike @mike g.  Don't know if I had posted this before, but since you said you liked BNSF, here is one for you...

BNSF in Crawford

BNSF with a train full of covered hoppers in Crawford, Texas on a sunny Sunday morning in Sept 2021.  This is a relatively flat section of track and the train is doing about 65 mph at this point.  (Note this is my picture).

Enjoy

Terrific scene Patrick.

This is quite a different look than what I have been used to seeing from your layout.  Looks really good with all that activity going on .

Mike always comments on our stuff when he can or throw us a like and this is just my way of saying Thanks to him for his years of service here and dedication to the forum and Hobby.
This guy was switching out some cars one day on the yard.

Morning guys, what great photos you are all sharing! I am loving all the BNSF and BN Photos! LOL

@trumptrain, Patrick I love how you always show your guys working so hard on your RR and the jobs they do! But I have to say its nice to see folks playing in the park, What a great shot with the church and fire station in the background!

@lee drennen Outstanding night shot of the BNSF with the red glow in the windows! It's kind of funny the last photo with the green and white switcher, I guess back then they didn't want to repaint it, so they just painted white BNSF on the side and kept the BN on the nose! I want to thank you for the kind words, I know everyone works hard on their layout and if I can say something nice to help them keep chugging along it's well worth it to say something!

@Arnold D. Cribari Arnold, nice shot of city hall! I remember when we use to have police standing outside! Good thing is it doesn't look too busy!

@Capetrainman Paul Great shot! I have seen a few of them when the wife and I have stayed in Boseman MT. a couple times making the trip to ND. I am surprised to see the paint scheme on the 4th engine back, you don't see that very often! Thanks for the photo!

@Mark Boyce Mark, Wonderful shot of your log and coal train and you are correct the power plant in the back tells alot! Its nice to see different views of your layout!

Sorry guys, nothing from me as you all probably know I am working on a jigsaw project! LOL

Thanks so much Mike!  My layout does include scenes of both work and play.  I guess I always seem to choose mostly working shots.   Going forward ... I'll try to include a it more scenes with the citizens in casual activities.  It's always nice to have balance in anything we do ;-)
