Does anyone have this engine/caboose combo? Can you tell me if the Proto-sounds includes special Christmas sounds, like Santa speaking, etc? Can't find that detail in any info sheets on the combo. Thanks.

Go for it you won't be disappointed. Initially I was disappointed when using just the whistle and bell, not what I had expected. But when you activate the PFA it is totally different. It got a lot of smiles during our "Christmas on the Prado" run at the San Diego Model RR Museum Saturday night on Dec 5th.
Hopefully someone here has a recording that they can post, unfortunately I am an electronics neanderthal.

Yes, Santa and an elf inventory a Christmas boxcar , Comet eats Santa's cheeseburger that was supposed to be his lunch, Santa explains why they have a load of coal and a few other tid-bits. Not to mention it has a very good appearance, good color choices and clean crisp graphics.

Thanks, Doug and Dave. I have only very limited MTH pieces but this one seems worth the effort. It sounds like the "sounds" on this unit are similar to another Christmas diesel (30-20257-1) which is great. Thanks for the information. Now, I just need to find a deal.
