Nice video. However, the NYC locomotive that hauled the Mercury was a Pacific (4-6-2), and the locomotive in the video appears to be the Empire State Express Hudson.

Thanks Jack.  Then whats with Lionel putting "The Mercury" on the pilot above the ESE logo?  More fantasy stuff?

FWIW it is the ESE hudson with the J3 tender, if that makes any difference.

Back in the day - My buddy and I lined up a couple of lovely ladies and went to the drive in at West Nyack with the intent of having a delightful makeout session.  However, this movie was playing and we wound up mostly laughing, even better.
