I’m always impressed and often amazed at the ability of experienced electrical types to just LOOK at a new ckt diagram and quickly ascertain its basic function/behavior….and this WITHOUT using any of the tools of circuit analysis and the associated math. With that little intro, here’s the ckt and the promised quiz:

An AC source feeds current into the following parallel ckt: One leg comprises a ‘standard’ RLC series ckt and the other contains just a capacitor. But wait; there’s more: After these 2 legs recombine, the current flows thru another capacitor [for a total of 3] before returning to the source.

The quiz: Describe the performance of this ckt as a function of frequency, f, as f ranges from zero to infinity.
