Hey Eliot....what else would they really have in them...this is Arkansas and we have to find ways to avoid the "revenuers".  The refinery produces "Oily Beer" which can allow one to "drunk AND drive"...LOL!!

Always an inspiration to get comments from you my Friend!  I too look forward to seeing you and sweet Dotty!  I sure wish I could get you two to head this way one time while you are traveling to your place in Florida....

Keep those pix comin' Alan.

Fantastic job as always!

Thank you TJ!!  I have a sound file that I can use to send to a speaker which is mounted under the refinery area.  Background sounds really add to a layout but one has to keep the volume down to a minimum to make it realistic...

How long did it take to construct?

Your layout is something else.

Thanks so much Bill..!!  Your cousin will be able to tell you how bad my pipe arrangement is...so you may not be so impressed..LOL!!  I was just trying to give the impression of a complicated piping system and really didn't do any in depth research.  I worked on and off on the entire refinery which is not pictured so it took me probably a total of a couple of weeks to complete.  There are more tanks and off-loading facilities which I have not pictured but the entire complex is about 9 feet or so long.  We had an active member on here a few years ago that had a refinery built for him by Alan Graziano that blows mine away and of course the NJ Highrailers refinery is second to none!
