I just received one of these and I don't have any idea how it is connected. It is supposed to work a Lionel or similar d. c . motor. It has five wires connected to it: blue, green, brown, orange and yellow. Does anyone have an idea what goes where?

Thanks

Jay

ACRU = Alternating Current Reverse Unit …..NOT for DC motors …..bad things will happen if you try to use that with a can motor ….

The two rail flyer guys do it, I found it while researching adding TMCC to my grandfather’s old flyer. In the diagram there is a choke, it’s not needed for 3 rail. For perspective I attached a normally wired diagram too.

Pin 1 is common

Pin 2 is hot

Other pins go to the ac motor.

edit:

here is a better schematic of the 6pin.
