Hello everybody,
I have a whole bunch of postwar stuff including FM units, gp7 and GP 9 units. Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to add a smoke unit to these units? if possible please advise how to do it and what units you would recommend and where to buy.

Depending on the engine it could be done, You would mount it under the exhaust vent, of the shell, of course that would have to be opened up, And depending on the frame, usually the Eunit is in the way, I will let GRJ advise on which one and where to get....

Jerry I too am interested in adding a a smoke unit to a GP7 and F4. did you every get any responses?????
Best bet would be a MTH PS1 smoke unit, with simple 2 wire hook up, ….you’d have to fabricate a funnel and what not, but with the way those old Pulmor motors eat amps like a hog, they should smoke pretty descent,….

Here’s a few examples of what I mean, …..these are PS1 smoke units, so they work well for conventional operation, simple two wire hook up, although I’d advise adding a simple off/on switch, and these are available at mthpartsandsales.com search “ smoke units “ under the service parts window
