Hi all...I've been away from Postwar items for a while, maybe someone could tell me if this is a good price or what it might be selling for?

Postwar 2340 GG-1 in excellent condition, green in color and really distinct original stripes, runs great, no box.  They  are asking $850.00 for it....good price or not?

Agree-that price is too high, esp without the box/inserts. Also be careful, that one, as well as some other 5 stripers often had the stripes easily worn away and have been restriped. This was the same issue(s) they had with the previous 2330.  You need someone who has seen these engines frequently to confirm original stripes, especially if there is no wear and they are pure "gold" colored ( no silvering over the years). Good luck-they are really great engines.

Whether you buy on eBay or not, or like eBay or not, it is a true national auction and can give you guidance - not a definitive answer, as that does not exist - as to a reasonable price for an item. The "Completed Listings" - sale or no sale - are the best place to search for and get an idea of what a thing is, or is not, worth, right now.

Like any other "price guide", it is just a guide, not a bible.
