Hi Ed, I am late in getting into this thread, so very sorry to here of your losing your brother, your families will be in our prayers. I know it’s not something you had planned at this time, but, as they say, there is never a Good Time. So, you have many forum member ideas, and thoughts on how to liquidate an older train collection, and at the same time Please everyone concerned.  This OGR FOR SALE Forum is really great. Just make your ad, the item, the item # Lionel, MTH, etc., Condition, and asking price (your descretionary idea), list the item or items, see what happens.  You will get offers, get Paypal, I just did, as most buyers prefer this method of payment.  Security for the buyer, and the seller this way. Your first action, should you choose to sell the collection, is go get it and bring it to your home.  This is the hardest part. At the time you get the collection, possibly your brothers family will help you pack, clean any of the dust off, and box the trains. That’s a big help. Now, if all this works, and you get the trains, you could also take these train items to local Train Shows, possibly Legacy Station would buy some of the trains, or even Trade with you. There are many ways to sell these trains. One thing for sure, you could call Trainz.com.  I like going to the train shows as I am a people person. That’s the reason I love this hobby.

When I am in the Atlanta area, maybe we could talk. Again, so sorry for your loss of your brother. May God Bless Your Family. Leapin Larry
