Its interesting how the train is seen moving in the VERY first shot, but is mysteriously still for the remainder of the scene. Gilbert got some GREAT publicity out of this!

The sound of the trainset would have been picked up by the microphones along with the dialog.
It was the Burns and Allen show, not the A.C. Gilbert show after all...

I was surprised to see the train in the opening scene...
The Burns & Allen show comes on 11 - 12 PM Sunday nights here on over the air broadcast. Most night's I'm long asleep by then, but I make exception to stay up to see the show (2 episodes).
I agree with Grampstrains that there will never be another female comedienne as funny as Gracie.

For what it's worth, the set that appears in the first few frames appears to be set 5525TBW. All we actually see is the 293 locomotive, a 916 container gondola, and what appears to be a 937 box car. The initial showing of that episode was November 28, 1955, so that set would make sense.
