I was wondering if AF ever made Combine Coaches in S?
Being new to AF-S trains and a fan of Combines, I thought I'd ask you fellow's who are knowledgeable of
rolling stock produced by AF.
Thanks.

Thanks Rusty!
Now I know I can start looking for one.
My thought is to have one for a short line operation that is mainly moving freight but also having a combine in the consist for passenger service.
Dave
The list is rather extensive:
Heavyweight combinations:
No. 653 with link couplers in green, maroon, red (painted) or unpainted red or green Bakelite with several variations
No. 953 with knuckle couplers in green or maroon (several lettering variations)
The streamlined combinations are truly numerous:
No. 500 with link couplers in chromed plastic
No. 660 with link couplers in extruded aluminum or chromed plastic
Nos. 900 and 24843 with knuckle couplers in NP colors (very pretty!)
No. 960 without or with red, blue, green or chestnut window stripes
No. 24837 with knuckle couplers in UP colors
Nos. 24773, 24776 and 24867 with knuckle couplers and red stripe
No. 24856 with knuckle couplers in MP colors (the 1958 and 64 variations)
Unless I missed something...
Bob
Bob pretty much covered it but if you don't mind the clunky look there is also the "Frontiersman" old time style combine (247)40.
If worse comes to worse and you have trouble finding one, American Models makes a heavyweight combine.
I always liked the long truck heavy weights that Rusty showed but they are hard to find and tend to be pricey.

Oops! Forgot the No. 24740. Thanks.
By the way, just so folks know, Rusty's combination is of the later (1948 and after) short truck link coupler style, not the early (1946-47) long truck style.
Enjoy.
Bob
Thanks Bob, if anybody would know it would be you. I still like the long truck version maybe some day.
Thanks Bob & Cal...
The 24740 would be more my style, but It's probably a link coupler.
One of the newer streamliners would look funny behind my steamer so will probably look for 953 & hope I can find one at a reasonable price.
Dave
The (247)40 is knuckle coupler.
Thanks Rich..
I know of two being offered at what may be a reasonable price.
Will have to give the fellow a call tomorrow & see.
Thanks
Dave
