This arrived today and is a pleasant colorful surprise. This Baldwin has the 3rd generation drivetrain with a vertical motor and new gear setup. The first re-issue of the Baldwin had the Gilbert style power truck but with diecast and a can motor.

i just got the UP version in a week ago. I placed my pre order so long ago that I almost forgot about it. I took a look at your in the catalog when it came out but did not pull the trigger, I have to say that does look sharp!

Check the top of your locos for paint wear. All 3 of my new ones- CP, UP and Youngstown all have wear on the top in the ceter
