Those are re-paints. Lionel produced an SD9, 6-18811 road # 8811 several of which are currently available on ebay if you would like to see a picture. They also made a GP7 for a set that was all blue with Alaska on the flanks with the ARR logo. This is numbered 1802. Here's a picture of it after I added the yellow ends to mimic the ARR paint scheme.

You can see the difference in the size and placement of the Alaska on he side.
