Bachmann is offering Siemens locomotives in HO.  As I understand it Siemens has a pretty steep licensing fee, so Bachmann would probably be the candidate.

And Bachmann is making a Siemens SC-44 in N scale (still in preorder status), so that’s two scales. It’s possible Bachmann will extend its efforts to its Williams line, but I have my doubts based on what little new locomotive tooling the company has produced in recent years.

Lionel has hinted a couple of times during the catalog shows that a newly tooled Amtrak locomotive is on the way and in the design phase. Considering the number of road names the ALC-42 can be made in (because of the many commuter railroads and Amtrak paint schemes), it seems likely, at least to me, that Lionel is working on it right now.

Yeah... like the "eggliner" was money "well spent"! How's that working out for ya Mr. BACHMANN?
