OK, guys. It's time to start the list of OGR Forum guys, gals and guests who are planning to join us for breakfast before the November 9th First Frost meet in Allentown, PA.  http://allentowntrainmeet.com/  There will be the 'early admission' tickets available.

Please add your name to the list. Remember, however, this is not a commitment on your part but gives us an idea of how the HamFam Restaurant will set up the room for us. Note: there is construction in front of the HamFam, so look for the detour to the diner's parking lot.

For newcomers (and the forgetful among us  the HamFam is at 2200 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA., and is just a few blocks from the Fairgrounds location of the meet.

I want to get Allentown show in this year, won't make breakfast though. See if I can get up and make the show. It'll give me a chance to take in the nice cool air out that way.

I'm in!

If I get my car back from the body shop on Friday, I'll be there on Saturday. A texting woman ripped the side of it off 5 weeks ago. My Outback was only a year old.

I am really hoping to be there. Right now, it looks like I will be, but if we find the right part for my kid’s Jeep, I may be stuck working on it.

Well, DUH!  Don't look for it until after Allentown!

I'll see everyone after breakfast, I got my ticket Saturday but won't make breakfast. I hope that I feel like I did Saturday and not like yesterday. I had a headache that wouldn't go away. See you all after breakfast, can't wait to experience Allentown for the first time.

A raw steak this Saturday.

Folks,

Don't forget!

We are going to include a "Medley" of recent photos on the Forum when we post our traditional OGR Saturday 11:00 photo at the OGR booth.

We are such a good looking bunch that the world needs to see us at our finest at past Allentowns  when we do the latest 11 AM photos on Saturday

I think (but I might be wrong) that on one thread Brian alluded the move was due to his wife's employment. A transfer or something to that effect?

I am going to try to attend but I don't think I'll go the the address in Chuck's first post; it would make me late for breakfast.

The Hamilton Family restaurant's web site says 2027 W. Hamilton Street, and Google Maps confirms this.  At least I think I did it right.

It wasn't an easy decision, but the company that recruited my wife made it almost impossible to say no.  But it still came with a price, I miss my train friends.  The good thing is we're closer to our parents and grandkids.  Thank goodness for the York Meet and my ability to get there.

I would have to leave the house at 4:30am to make it to the breakfast.  When my alarm would go off I wondered if I was crazy going out into the frigid cold to drive two hours to eat breakfast.  But it was always so much more than that.  Once I got in the car the adrenalin started pumping and I'd turn on the Christmas music on the radio or my iPod.  Breaking bread with good friends and seeing and buying trains afterwards.  The most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Good to see everyone there. Even my daughter, present under obvious duress, somehow managed to sniff out a nifty nos 40th anniversary Barbie for herself--not an easy feat, as this truly is a train show through and through. So, it wasn't a complete loss for her!  The crown jewel of the day would have been making it to Henning's to participate in their 80th anniversary celebration but, by late afternoon, I was already pressing my luck...

Great picture......whoever was in charge of "make-up" did a great job!

Hope to join the crowd regularly in a few years after I retire......

Peter
