OK, guys. It's time to start the list of OGR Forum guys, gals and guests who are planning to join us for breakfast before the November 9th First Frost meet in Allentown, PA.  http://allentowntrainmeet.com/  There will be the 'early admission' tickets available.

Please add your name to the list. Remember, however, this is not a commitment on your part but gives us an idea of how the HamFam Restaurant will set up the room for us. Note: there is construction in front of the HamFam, so look for the detour to the diner's parking lot.

For newcomers (and the forgetful among us  the HamFam is at 2200 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA., and is just a few blocks from the Fairgrounds location of the meet.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was on my honeymoon. I’ll be there for breakfast, but not making the show until Sunday

Folks,

Don't forget!

We are going to include a "Medley" of recent photos on the Forum when we post our traditional OGR Saturday 11:00 photo at the OGR booth.

We are such a good looking bunch that the world needs to see us at our finest at past Allentowns  when we do the latest 11 AM photos on Saturday

I think (but I might be wrong) that on one thread Brian alluded the move was due to his wife's employment. A transfer or something to that effect?

It wasn't an easy decision, but the company that recruited my wife made it almost impossible to say no.  But it still came with a price, I miss my train friends.  The good thing is we're closer to our parents and grandkids.  Thank goodness for the York Meet and my ability to get there.

I would have to leave the house at 4:30am to make it to the breakfast.  When my alarm would go off I wondered if I was crazy going out into the frigid cold to drive two hours to eat breakfast.  But it was always so much more than that.  Once I got in the car the adrenalin started pumping and I'd turn on the Christmas music on the radio or my iPod.  Breaking bread with good friends and seeing and buying trains afterwards.  The most fun you can have with your clothes on!
