I tried bonding the Ameri-Towne window glazing to the polystyrene kit walls using both Plastruct plastic cement and Bondene, the glazing did not bond. Is the glazing material acetate, if so, what adhesive/cement is required to bond the acetate to the polystyrene kit walls.

Later builds I ditched the kit glazing (too flimsy/wavy for my taste, besides being of weird composition).  Bought some Evergreen Clear Styrene sheets, instead.  Plastruct's welding products now work just fine.

I now use polycarbonate sheet from Cover House; secure with a trace of Goo at the edges.

Contest models - then I'm cutting microscope cover slips to fit; secure with a trace of Goo at the edges.

OGR buildings are particularly easy to install window panes on since the windows are molded in and the back is flat. As mentioned above I buy Plastruct 10 mil thick clear styrene sheets (SSM-101). While you can use Plastruct Plastic Weld I prefer Formula 560 Canopy glue since if some glue goes where it is not supposed to be it dries clear.
