American Flyer Friday on the R&D show

I just watched the second part of the Lionel Facebook live video and in it, Ryan stated that on the American Flyer Facebook page on Friday they will do a live show exclusively covering S Gauge.  This could be a good opertunity for us to ask questions and get some information on what Lionel has planned for S.

This is the part two of the 2018 catalog video. It shows zero American Flyer that I can tell:

They keep referring to an upcoming video next Friday that will contain ONLY American Flyer items NEXT WEEK.

As this 2018 Part two video was done on 1/31/18 (Wednesday) they must be referring to Friday 2/9/18 as the day of the American Flyer video.

If anyone wants to watch the video of this it is on the AF Facebook page.

I would like to thank R&D for spending the time on the S Guage guys.

R&D Please make this a regular thing!!!

Dave, if you see this, I was the one asking about the date code on the wide radius track.

That was me asking....old habits and all...

I’m not sure how they pick the questions to answer, but they did say they did not want the “will you make this or that” questions on this show. And I get that, this is supposed to be about this catalog.  Dave and Ryan requested that questions like that be put to the “askus” page on the website.

Thanks Ryan and Dave for a great video! I'm glad that you took the time to revue the Flyer line in the 2018 Big Book and am especially glad to hear of the engine number correction (572) for the RF&P Legacy Berkshire. I have ordered mine!

Keep up the good work.

Just watched the Ryan and Dave show on Facebook.  Sorry I could not watch it live.  Ryan, if your reading this thanks for the mention about our Trainland discussion regarding the Culvert Loader and Unloader.  After all the discussion about the Sensor track, I’m sure interest has grown so now you have to make it for your Flyer Fastrack!  I happen to love it and program my flyer legacy engines to blow their horn when they go over it.  It would be great if everyone who did not want to do surgery with the O gauge track and used Flyer Fastrack could have it as well.
