Hello. I’m wondering if anybody has ever come up with a solution for the lateral truck/yoke flex that occurs. It is an inherent problem with the way the powered truck is designed. The flex can be slight to excessive which can impact the locomotive running properly. I’ve done some googling but didn’t find anything.

Thanks,

Steve

The yoke is fixed to the chassis by a circlip, if you move the yoke up and down you will see some movement, you need to reduce this as much as possible but allow it to rotate still. You will need to remove the circlip and add some thin shim washers. It helps but you will always have some movement.
