Amtrak Wolverine Baggage Car?

I was with a friend in Royal Oak, Michigan earlier this evening and I saw the Amtrak Wolverine with the normal Genesis and Horizons, but there was a Heritage Baggage Car at the back end. My other friend online said it might be going to scrap, but he's unsure. Does anyone else know about this? I'm just curious.
