I've used Firefox as my default browser on Android for some time and it does work. My big issue is navigating to the bottom or top of the page. It is an excruciatingly slow process. At least on my laptop or desktop using a traditional browser I can user the slider on the navigation bar to get to the top or bottom although a shortcut would be helpful.

I've been experimenting with the Opera and Dolphin browsers on my Android and thought the Dolphin browser might save the day. It has some built in gestures that let you go to the top or bottom of a page quickly. Works real nice on some sites but for some reason doesn't work on the OGR Forum.

Waiting for the Android App.........

Steve

I originally posted this on the "Questions/Problems" thread.

The new forum does not function properly whenI access it using a Samsung tablet.

1.  I cannot select a page to start reading a topic.  I am forced to start with page 1 and scroll  and scroll and scroll until I get to the page I desire.

2.  The screen often locks when a large picture is displayed and wil not allow me to scroll past it.  Very frustrating.

All the above worked just fine with the old format.

If there something I need to add to my tablet?

Then I saw this thread.  So I downloaded and installed the Dolphin browser, but that did not resolve the above issues.  Any suggestions?

Has anyone found a tablet browser that will display all the postings when you click on a subject?  I have tried several and all of them only show the first 3 or so postings on a subject.  That makes the tablet unusable for the forum.  I have tried Dolphin, Firefox and Opera and all do the same thing.

Revision to my comments.  Only displays about 5 or 6 postings for a subject.
