Thanks Alan! Glad to be a part of this wonderful Forum! Looking forward to sharing with you some exciting news about several upcoming projects in the works! Stay tuned everyone!
Nice layout in your store guys. I like the way the store is laid out as well. Wish I lived closer.
Regards,
John
Thank you Tom, Larry and Tim for becoming Forum sponsors!! I think Svengoulie put your town Berwyn on the map! Kidding aside, you have a nice Website and store too! I wish I lived closer too, but that's a haul from Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Thank you Alan!!
Just wanted to add that I believe Berwyn's Toys and Trains is our first Chicago land/area sponsor on the forum!
Welcome and thanks!
Grew up in Berwyn in from the 1940's to the 1972. My local hobby shop was Winsor Hobby Center on the corner of Winsor Ave and Clinton, across the street for the Burlington tracks. Spent many hours there and many dollars as well. The owner, Bob (don't remember his last name) was a great guy and always willing to help me.
I now live on the west coast and do miss certain aspects of the old town: White Sox, Blackhawks, and the CB&Q. Don't miss the winters.
Good luck and continued success to you guys at Berwyn's Toys and Trains.
RAY
For the twenty years we have lived in the Chicago area, Berwyn Toys and Trains has been our 'go to' store for purchasing and repairing our model railroad cars and engines. John in Lansing, ILL
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! Located just an easy 12 miles east of Downtown Chicago on Historic Route 66 none the less!

Make sure you introduce yourself the next time we see you John in Lansing! You seem to escape our radar!
We remember Windsor Hobbies too! It was a staple in the old "Depot District" of Berwyn!
Svengoulie has put "Ber-Wyn" on the map, but so has Al Capone!
Stay in touch for our upcoming announcement (s) !!
Welcome and thanks for being an OGR Forum Sponsor! Looks like a fantastic store.
One of my favorite brick and mortar stores. I always try to visit when I'm in the area.
Welcome, Tom et al. I used to frequent the store back when you were on Harlem Ave. and we lived in the area. I occasionally see you set up at DuPage. Glad you're sponsoring the Forum!
Very nice store and well worth a visit if you are in the area or passing through.
After viewing all the pics, I must say very nice and well stocked. If I'm ever out that way I will stop by.
I was just there last week. Great shop! Tons of postwar and some nice American Flyer items.
Berwyn!!
These guys are my LHS. Great people to deal with and have a nice inventory/prices on the inventory. Hit them up if you're looking for something. I'm in there too frequently, and I think they know me too well, but still put up with my visits .
I want to add if I ever go through the Chicago area, I will make it a point to stop in. I've never been in Northern Illinois.
Was going to say BERWYN!, but thought that would get me booted off the forum....
