Guys and Gals,

Mark your calendars!!

I am very pleased to announce the Richmond County Model Railroad Club which will be presenting the Annual Holiday Train Show which will be taking place here on Staten Island at Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center (25 Fanning Street) from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday December 8th and 9th. This will be the 5th such Annual Holiday Train Show at the Center, but it is the first with this brand new club! Won't you please join us in our membership drive?

There will be a special raffle for Staten Island victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The parking for this two day event will be free as will  the admission. Free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available. There will be an expansive S gauge table featuring trains from the 20's and 30's as well as period houses and decorations. There will be a tri-level mountain with festive houses and lights on which O gauge trains will be simultaneously running! A delight for kids and adults alike! This will be the ultimate intergenerational party!

There will be door prizes and 10 raffles (5 each day) of brand new train sets!

We are a fledgling club so guys, I am counting on your support! It will be a brand new club hosting this year with some of the old members from last year. We couldn't move the weekend the former club abandoned the weekend! Your support means the world to me. We are trying to get the start up money to start a new club. We have been meeting since June at Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabititation Center. Mike
