For you snowbirds, vacationers or permanent Florida residents, the TCA Southern Division will host an OUTDOOR Train Meet & Show on Sunday, March 7th in Pinellas Park. This will be a modified, outdoor train show reminiscent of early swap meets!
Dave Zitnik, owner of Zitnik Trains in Pinellas Park, graciously offered us the parking lot at his store to hold our show. While this is a new venue for us, Dave has been holding successful outdoor train shows in his parking lot twice a year for several years now. The store will also be open all day for shopping. The store’s address is 5193 73rd Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33781.
But even though it is an outdoor event, face masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced to the extent possible.
The show is open to the public, starts at 9:00 AM and closes at 2 PM. For more details see the attached flyer which includes contact info for our host, Guy Ateniese, if you need more information. The best part of the show is that it is free – admission is free and table spaces are free. But you must be a TCA member to obtain a table space and table holders must bring their own tables with a limit of two 8-ft long table spaces per member. The available table spaces are going fast so if you are a TCA member who wants to sell trains at this event, contact Guy ASAP.
Free parking is available in the nearby Bank of America parking lot. There will also be a food truck on the premises for purchasing food and beverages.
In the event of inclement weather, the show will be rescheduled to Sunday, March 14th.
