Once again, we were happy to have made the yearly Trainstock get-together. I was surprised, and pleased, at the additions to the layout. Truly, a work in progress, and it gets better every year. Marty and I had company this year, David Ogletree from Needham, Mass joined us (sorry, no picture), and Marty's grandson and Associate NJ HiRailer, Dean Fitzhenry, flew all the way from St. John's, Newfoundland to attend. We left early to outrun the storm, took the coastal route - 95 - back to Boston, and it didn't catch up to us until Providence, Rhode Island. We dropped off David and made it home without incident. Thank you David for sharing the driving. And thank you to our hosts. As always, a good time was had by all.
And LOVE the hat design this year. What better tribute to the fallen and survivors, than to incorporate the Twin Towers into Trainstock 11.
