So I bought this motor on daBay, thinking I knew what it is, but I don't. It bears the ATOMIC MOTOR logo on the brush plate, and it has the two-pin coupling as used on the 397 coal loader, but.... the coupler is on the output shaft backwards! So before I rip this apart and pull the coupler to reverse it, what are the (other) possibilities here?
I agree, sure looks like the drive coupler is upside down. I don’t have any experience with the older motors so I may be upside down also. Someone will have the answer though.

Someone put that drive coupling on upside down. I guess you are right side up, Rod.
I concur with Dan, the coupling is upside down (backwards) from what it should be.
Thanks, ya'll. Just seemed weird that somebody would do that and push it on to the shaft fully … for no apparent reason!?! Oh well, I'll swap it around and call it a spare - thanks again!
