Lionel Mountain and A6 Steamers Arrive

I just received a FedEx notice that Charles Ro has shipped mine (Missouri Pacific Mountain).  Will be here (St. Louis, MO) Friday.  Fingers crossed. 

Please post photos and possibly a video. I want one in the worst way Congrats 

Both an A6 and a 4-8-2 have shown up on ebay.

Well, that's just very impressive. I have one of the old TMCC versions. It looks just as nice as the new one (in fact, I prefer my version's lack of "white wall tires"), except for the cab-tender gap. The new one's gap looks almost prototypical - sharp. Haven't "fixed" my draw bar yet. 

The Southern cab roofs and tender decks were not typically painted oxide, to my knowledge; I painted mine black. The new smoke is great - mine will never do that, but that's OK. I have got to do something about my chuff rate. So many projects....

The Lionel USRA Mountain, like their USRA 2-6-6-2, is one of the best things Lionel ever did. The new version with the new smoke, chuff and short drawbar is very desirable.  But, I'll make do with some finessing of my old ones, I suppose.

CC charged from Charles Ro, but no ship notice yet.  Should be arriving early next week.

Here is the L&N version. I do like it as it seems match my house. Try and get the Frisco out Tomorrow - Mopac has not shipped from another dealer yet so any other Mopac fans can post those pictures for me. Will also get out the A6 - I went with SPL #3000.

Can anyone post pics of the frisco and the mopac?  I dont get mine for a week or more...  love to see pics of these...

The L&N is beautiful. Anybody get the new haven?

Superchief, that Southern Steamer is a Wow, Lionel did a great job in the smoking steam and steam whistle....Great video, nice layout, and the white wall wheels really set it off. It’s beautifully made. Enjoy. Happy Railroading

I have the Frisco out of the box. Its a keeper! The oil tender is great and the white walls look good - will post pictures tomorrow. Look forward to the Mopac pics as I am not sure when my copy will show up. I purchased it from a different dealer.
